Christopher Fortunati is the kind of litigator you want in your corner when the stakes are high and the room gets tense. With nearly 30 years of experience in probate and civil litigation, he helps clients navigate disputes that are often as personal as they are complex, from contested conservatorships and guardianships to real estate fights, business torts, and employment-related claims.

He’s known for staying calm when others don’t, and for crafting sharp, strategic plans that keep cases on track, even when emotions run high. Whether it’s a multi-party probate battle or a high-conflict business dispute, Chris brings a focused presence and decades of courtroom insight to every matter.

Admitted to the California Bar in 1997, he’s also licensed to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. His career has taken him into courts across the state, where he’s built a reputation for clarity, preparation, and tenacity.

Chris earned his law degree from John F. Kennedy University School of Law and holds a B.A. from Sonoma State University, where he studied Sociology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science. He’s an engaged member of the State Bar of California, as well as the bar associations of Ventura, Los Angeles, and San Diego Counties.
